Pastor Greg is a degreed Mechanical Engineer. He worked in that field for over 40 years. When he retired from that career, he went back to school and got a degree from the Institute of Lutheran Theology. In addition to being the Pastor at Jordan Lutheran in Browntown, he is also busy working in a prison ministry in Wisconsin. He does a bible study at Fox Lake Correction, and also preaches and makes visits to inmates at Waupun, Fox Lake Correctional, Dodge Correctional, and New Lisbon.

Pastor Douthwaite is married. He has two children and a step-son. Pastor Douthwaite enjoys boating and driving around the country in his recreational vehicle.
